Searching for Gold in Quartz at the
Tuolumne Sunshine Mine, Gold Specimens
The Tuolumne Sunshine Mine is pretty much rocks and
brush and trees and steep rock ridges and deep gulches.
Big red ants that attack you if you get close to their nest, very
hungry mosquitoes, and deer ticks that all want you for dinner.
Black bears, rattlesnakes, black tail deer, squirrels, coyote,
skunks, raccoons, grey fox, chipmunks, humming birds and
many more California forest creatures inhabit the area.
Here are a few pictures of our mining claim,
and my excellent adventure, that continues............................
